Alliance Women

We are a group of women from the Christain & Missionary Alliance churches who regularly support and assist our Alliance missionaries worldwide in prayer, financial, physical and material ways. At the same time, we minister to needs of families in our own local congregation and our neighbors around us.

All women attending Parkside Chapel are considered Alliance Women. Please contact Joyce Pendergrass at 627-0750 (or cell # 347-4190) for more information. We meet, generally, on the third Monday of the month at 9:30a.m.

Our mission is fourfold:

1.  Missions--- To educate and help to understand the work of Alliance missionaries. To help them to have a personal knowledge and connection with our District missionaries. To encourage the ladies to give to missions and our missionaries in tangible ways.

2.  Prayer--- To help the ladies to pray knowledgeably for the needs of Alliance missionaries. To help them to be aware of needs in our local congregation and to pray for those needs. To encourage them to be faithful in praying daily for our missionaries and for needs among our ladies.

3.  Fellowship--- To provide a place and time for the ladies to fellowship together with others in the group and to provide a safe place for them to share concerns or needs they have. To encourage attendance at Bible study groups especially for women.

4.  Outreach--- To equip and encourage reaching the lost on ones own personal mission field (family, neighborhood and frequented places).
