Parkside Elders

We believe in a plurality of leadership so with the Senior Pastor, the Elders serve as the highest level of servant leadership in the church. They are men who seek to live out the character and qualities of I Timothy 3:1-7. As under-shepherds, the Elders share with the Senior Pastor the vision and oversight of the church and its ministries to accomplish the mission of walking and talking Jesus. The Elders are responsible for the spiritual ministry of the church in providing healthy disciples who live out the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-39) and Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20). They shepherd and minister to the spiritual and ministry needs of the Parkside family.

The Current Elder Board consists of:

Mark Piper, Insurance Industry

Rick Hash, Utility Company Foreman

Keith Glentzer, Retired High School Math Teacher

Scott Johnson, Cattle Rancher

Ron Story, Lead Pastor and Chairman

The Elders are all involved in teaching/fellowship/leadership responsibilities in the church and meet monthly to review the spiritual ministries of the church. They are available for prayer and counsel as needs arise.
