    The annual Parkside Missions Festival is a three-day event where wee focus on what God is doing in foreign missions. Our guests will be Mark and Becky Mindek, Alliance missionaries to the Balkans.

The Missions Festival will make us more aware and supportive of our missionaries and challenges us to become involved in long or short term missions.

Saturday, March 6 - 5:45 p.m.
Missions Festival Banquet

With the meal catered by Pita Perfect, featuring a Mediterranean cuisine of shish kabobs, rice pilaf and baklava, we will set the stage for our missions adventure as the Mindeks take us to the Balkans.  Dinner is in the Worship Center, Tickets available $5 each. Child Care through 3 Grade will be provided, Parents please feed your Pre-schooled children prior to their arrival at the church.

 

Sunday, March 7

1:00 p.m. Mieah Service

 

We will hear from our missionary speakers Mark and Becky Mindek.  Please be seeking God now as to how He would have you participate in our once-a-year Missions Faith Promise.

Hands in the Community 

Parkside Chapel has partnered with Hands in the Community (HNC).The purpose of HNC is to provide an efficient network of services that respond to the needs of people in our community and in our church community.

If you would like to volunteer your talents on a per need basis, this is for you. Click below, print and fill out HNC's volunteer survey and mail it to them at the address on the back. You will be contacted with further information and remember you may be called on only occasionally and calls are based on geographic location of the need.

To send out and to support disciples who share the Gospel with un-reached peoples.

Purpose and Activities:

Plan short-term missions trips in the U.S. and abroad.

Keep Parkside members and friends informed about missionaries we support and missions in general.

Organize and facilitate the Missions Festival each Spring

• Invite Missionaries to explain what God is doing in their lives.
• Missions Banquet

Host Visiting Missionaries

• House them
• Transport them
• Entertain them (provide meals and fellowship)
• Acquaint them with the Parkside community and the area where we live and work

Pray for Missionaries around the world.

Correspond with, encourage and support our Missionaries.
